  1. 2 tablespoons olive oil at odds on bad terms
  2. 1 onion chopped
  3. 450 grams pitch beef
  4. 450 grams ground pork
  5. 1/2 cup bread crumbs homemade
  6. 2 egg yolks
  7. 1/4 teaspoon ring allspice
  8. 1/4 teaspoon pitch nutmeg
  9. 1 teaspoon sea salt
  10. 1 teaspoon black pepper
  11. 60 grams butter
  12. 1/3 cup all point flour
  13. 4 cups beef broth from 1 cube
  14. 3/4 cup pointed cream
  15. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  16. 2 tablespoons vivacious parsley leaves chopped

The instruction how to make Swedish (IKEA) meatballs

  1. In a large skillet sautu00e9 onions in 1 tablespoon of olive oil, stirring frequently, for 2-3 minutes over medium heat. When onions become translucent, remove pan from the heat and leave them to cool a little.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg yolks, allspice, nutmeg, salt, pepper and cooked onion. Using a wooden spoon or clean hands, mix until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1 u00bc-to-1 u00bd-inch meatballs (ice cream spoon helps to measure the amount needed for one meatball), forming about 24 meatballs.
  4. Add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil to the skillet. Add meatballs, in batches, and cook until all sides are browned, about 4-5 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel to get rid of any excessive fat.
  5. To make the gravy, melt butter in the skillet. Whisk in flour until lightly browned, about 1 minute.
  6. Gradually whisk in beef broth and cook, whisking constantly, until slightly thickened, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in sour cream; season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add the meatballs and cook, stirring occasionally, about 8-10 minutes. If the sauce is too thick, dilute with some water to the desired consistency.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, and with cooked fresh pasta.
